Meine Skulpturen entstehen aus Materialien, die sich widersprechen:
das Zarteste gegen das Älteste, das Geformte gegen das Unkontrollierbare.

Ich arbeitet an der Grenze zwischen dem, was standhält, und dem, was sich verändert.
Dabei beschäftigt mich die Frage, was macht Zeit mit Materie – und was verrät Materie über Zeit.

Ich versuche zu ergründen, was einem Material, einem Körper, einer Existenz innewohnt, das nicht weggeht.
Das sich verändert, aber nicht aufgibt.
Das Spuren trägt, aber besteht.
Ich suche den Moment, bevor sich entschieden hat, was bleibt.

My sculptures emerge from materials that contradict one another:
the most delicate against the oldest, the shaped against the uncontrollable.

I work at the boundary between what endures and what changes.
What interests me is the question of what time does to matter—and what matter reveals about time.

I try to explore what is inherent in a material, a body, an existence that does not fade away.
That changes, but does not give up.
That bears traces, but persists.
I seek the moment before it has been decided what remains.
